11.11.2002 A few changes of note around here. We've changed the map list yet again. I basically removed anything that most people seem to dislike. So the remaining list is short, but consists of maps that people seem to like more. I've also updated the links page with some info about Paradise Radio, Beech's online radio station. Be sure to check them out. We finished 4-3-1 in CAL-O this season. We are disappointed, but are hoping to get some new recruits in for next season that have time for practices. Start hanging out in the server and showing off, if you think you want to compete with us. But remember, bug's in charge, and if you bother him (or anyone else) while we're pubbing, your chances of getting recruited decrease. Finally, I added a calendar to the forum so that we can keep track of any events in our lives, plus practices and matches. You have to be registered to use it, but anyone should be able to post events. -grep

10.3.2002 God I gotta update this thing more often. Hmmmm, well. Many new recruits. A welcome to Bling Bling, Mr1swith, KuKuKaChu, PFE, and Deester. Glad to have you all, guys! Otherwise, I am trying to do all of the site updates that I have been neglecting lately. The links page has more stuff on it, although I think it somehow has less content. I'll be working on getting member pages up for everyone as well. We're 3-0 in CAL-O right now, but unfortunately 2 of those victories came via forfeit. Bug and the competition squad are working on setting up re-matches, so we hope to be a legitimate playoff contender when the time comes. There was a Cockgobbler sighting last night, but I was too busy cleaning my house. I, personally, don't believe in Cockgobblers anymore. 8.16.2002 Yo. Had an unexpected IP change last weekend. Apparently Gamedaemons is expanding enough where they needed to move into a larger space, so they could "serve us better." Well, it's like starting over again. Our server's been a ghost town for the last few days, even during primetime. PLEASE COME PLAY ON ENDOWED! In other news, we have recruited yet another Canadian, evilhomer. Welcome to Endowed, homer! The competition squad is gearing up for CAL next season, so practices are starting up again on Thursdays, Sundays, and Mondays. The server will be locked at these and possibly some other times for scrims and such. Just give it an hour or so and then PLEASE COME BACK! Thanks to all of the regs who have found us again. 8.1.2002 Hey, all. I know it's been a long time since I rapped at you, but I been busy dealing with this moving shit. And, I got a new car!!! Orphan and I moved into houses at the end of July. We've lost a couple of members, and gained a couple back. Please join us in welcoming the ever-controversial Tenseiga and Negatron to our ranks. After dropping out of CAL and STA last season, we are starting to look ready for competition again. We are still looking for a couple of good, dedicated team players, so if you're interested, send an email to bug. We've also been tweaking the TK punish settings on the server a bit. Stop by the forum and let us know if you have an opinion about that, or pretty much anything else. I'll be back on trying to re-gain all of my lost skill (shouldn't take too long, heh), so I'll see you online. -grep

6.17.2002 Had some problems with our web site over the weekend. Most things are up and functioning again, except for the forum, which will hopefully be back in the next couple of days. We upgraded to the newest version of Psychostats, so that page will be changing ove rthe next few days. We've also joined another league, which means that you may encounter a locked server a little more often than usual. We appreciate your patience. 5.29.2002 Today we recruited our newest member, Otacon. He's one of our old pals from playing on [ caffeine ], and he's a mean SOB with a Sig. Welcome to Endowed, we look forward to having you on the team. Otherwise, orphan, bug and I have stuffed my car full of computers and are rolling off to Austin, TX for the caffeine LAN party in about an hour. Should be a frickin' blast. Our first regular season match is next week, so don't be surprised if you encounter a locked server over the coming weekend. -grep

5.24.2002 Just wanted to let you regs know that since the CAL season is starting, we're going to be practicing and scimmaging a lot more, which means you may encounter a locked server from time to time. I'll post the regular practice times on our home page as soon as we get them so you know when we'll be locked. Thanks for your patience, we hope you keep coming back. 5.22.2002 Many things of note have happened. Our second season in CAL is just beginning. We've had some decent scrims, and many of us have improved our play, so we hope to have more success this season. We've installed a tool on the server called HalfD, which keeps track of team killing when we're not around. If you're playing on our server and like to kill your teammates, beware...we'll still ban your ass. The website will be undergoing some subtle changes in the future, more out of boredom than anything else. Check out the new server spy that's linked from the home page. This way you can find out if we're full up before you try and join. Thanks, orphan. And finally, next week bug, orphan and I make the pilgrimage from Minnesota to Austin, Texas for the [ caffeine ] LAN party. Should be a lot of driving, and a lot of fun. -grep

4.30.2002 Still waiting for the server side fix for the stats problem from Valve. Until then, our stats page is hosed, and the in-game stats don't work correctly. I'll post here as soon as it gets fixed. For the time being, I switched back to logging stats based on player name rather than won ID. It's not as accurate for those of us that like to change our names sometimes, but at least we'll have something to look at. Everyone getting used to 1.4? It's a little different, eh? We've added a forum for people who have been banned. If you've been banned, state your case there, and we'll review it. Our good buddies [ addiction ] are server-less for a little while, so we hope to be seeing them at our place. And we're starting to get ready for our second season in CAL-Open, so if you'd like to scrimmage, post in our scrim forum. -grep

4.26.2002 Well. 1.4 is out, and it has turned the whole world upside-down. Not only did it completely mess up our server for about 24 hours, but it's screwed our stats and CSGuard as well. Not to mention the changes in gameplay. The good news is, our server is up and running, and should stay that way. The bad news is, 1.4 has made me a worse player than I already was on 1.3. The stats page will be fixed when Valve releases a server side fix. Right now, log files are reporting the same won ID for killer and victim in a kill line. It's kind of funny, actually. So all of our skill ratings are around 500, because Psychostats thinks that we keep killing ourselves. Heh. Well come on over and play on Endowed anyway. We'll have a good old time trying to sort out this new game we all play. And stop by our forum and let us know what you think of 1.4. -grep

4.24.2002 1.4 is coming out today. Finally! We get about a week of relatively cheat free play before we have to go back to watching anyone who is cheating on our server. A note on that: We take this cheating thing very seriously. If you're playing on our server and there's someone who might be cheating, we're watching him. But we are also lucky enough to have several very good players that stop by our server and play from time to time, so we like to be very sure that someone is cheating before we ban them. This is why it takes so long sometimes. Believe it or not, good players that don't cheat exist. Anyhoo, our server should be upgraded to 1.4 tonight (I hope), so if you like playing here, go get the update. Let's see, what else...oh, made some minor changes to the FAQ page, and the member profiles keep evolving. -grep

4.15.2002 More progress on many fronts. A belated welcome to our newest member, Cockgobbler. This guy has a seemingly boundless source of energy, and makes headshots like a prolific porn star. I've updated the members page. Each member (except Beech, get me your info, man!) now has a profile page linked to their name. Oh, and if you're still not registered on our forum, then I'm still mad at you. -grep

4.3.2002 All sorts of stuff happening lately. First, Endowed would like to welcome our newest member, Suicidal_Beech. Glad to have you, buddy. Second, I finally got our map rotation up on the maps page. We changed it a little as well, since we were all tired of some of the old maps. Finally, we won our match against the LAN clan last night in a decisive fashion. Check out the screenies here. Oh yeah, one last thing, if you aren't registered on our forum, I'm mad at you. -grep

3.29.2002 If you hadn't noticed, OUR FORUM IS UP!!! Finally! We're still tweaking and playing a little, but it's up and functional. Sorry about the login font being white on a white background...I'm trying to find a way to fix this. Just check the "remember who I am when I come here" button when you register and you won't have to deal with it. We're getting more avatars, too. Check it all out here. -grep

3.27.2002 Endowed would like to welcome our newest member, WhitChit. We look forward to having your AWP on our side, buddy. In other news, I've been messing around with the options on the stats pages a little bit. We're tracking by Won ID now, and I've been goofing around with the clan pages. I apologize to any clans whose members aren't showing up correctly. If it makes you feel any better, both Cow and Whitchit aren't showing up on ours yet and I haven't been able to figure out why. Psychostats is a nice program, but it can get a little confusing. We're still recruiting. See last week's news post if you're interested. We're hoping to have our forums up sometime soon. And, we're scrimming with our old pals [addiction] this weekend, if we can get all of our guys together. -grep

3.21.2002 Endowed is looking for a few strong team players to fill out our ranks. If you're interested, come to our server and play for a little while. Asking members while playing on the server will not help you. In fact, it will most likely hurt your chances. If we're interested, we'll let you know. We've already got several prospects. While we will be considering walk-ons, our recruiting will most likely be done from previously established relationships. 3.17.2002 Got the maps page running today, so we can start playing some different maps. The rotation will remain the same for now, but we at least have the option of changing to something a little different every now and then. I've got a hankering for a little church2 right now, as a matter of fact. Future attractions will include a members page, which will explain all of the exciting lives of our current clan roster. I'm still doing some minor tweaks to the stats pages, as well, and we're looking forward to having a message board up sometime next week. Stay tuned. -grep

3.15.2002 Well. We're making some progress. The server was just expanded to accomodate 16 happy CS players today. Paying members are a good thing. We've also managed to get this site functioning a little bit. The links and maps pages will be up soon so that we can start playing some different maps (Thank God!), and we're working on getting a message board up so that we can all express ourselves. I would like to say thanks to all of the players that have made our server a regular stop on their CS playing tour. We hope you'll come by more often and stay longer. We're doing our best to make the Endowed server a fun and cheat-free place to play. Oh, and we're looking into Cheating Death, too. Stay tuned for more changes. -grep
